我們有一晚在伊斯坦堡吃晚餐,點菜時,服務人員問我們沙拉用什麼沾醬,我們問有哪些?她說了幾種,其中有一種我們聽不懂,再問是什麼?還是聽不懂,於是她就拿瓶子出來給我們看,字是看不懂,但圖案是石榴一看就認出了,她告訴我們,這是土耳其人最愛的沾醬。既然是土耳其人的最愛,沒吃過也要試試,沒想到一嚐,深深愛上此酸甜味。
回來時帶了幾瓶,mei 那陣子天天晚餐吃沙拉少不了它,但總有吃完的一天,而且那一天很快就到了。害她一直懷念到現在。
上個星期與人提到土耳其的這種石榴醬,我說若是在台灣推廣的話,一定會很受歡迎的,所以我就找了維基的資料,以及Google 的圖片,提供她參考。

Pomegranate seeds are also used in salads and sometimes as garnish for desserts such as güllaç.[14] Pomegranate syrup or molasses is used in muhammara, a roasted red pepper, walnut, and garlic spread popular in Syria and Turkey.[15] Pomegranate wine is produced in Israel[16] and Armenia.[17]
